Ynae Lopes dos Santos

PhD in Social History from the University of Sao Paulo (2012), Master in Social History from the University of Sao Paulo (2007), and Bachelor degree in History from USP (2002). She is currently Assistant Professor at the History Institute of the University Federal Fluminense-UFF. Conducts research in the area of American History, with emphasis on Modern Slavery and Ethnic-Racial Relations in the Americas, working mainly on the following topics: slavery, Iberian America, formation of National States, slave cities, ethnic racial relations and history teaching. She is currently part of the BRASA Executive Committee.

Henrique Trindade

Henrique Trindade is a Historian (USP) and researcher at the Immigration Museum of Sao Paulo. He is the author of an e-book about the Museum Digital Collection. He gives the regular lectures "Researching Family Documents" and the courses "Records of Immigrants: History and Research" and "Italian Immigration: History, Genealogical Research and Citizenship".

Silvia Fernanda de Mendonca Figueiroa

Graduated in Geology from the University of Sao Paulo (1981), Master's Degree (1987) and PhD (1992) in Social History from the University of Sao Paulo, both in the History of Science. Obtained the Habilitation in 2001 at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and became Full Professor in 2006. Postdoctoral studies at the Centre Alexandre Koyre d'Histoire des Sciences et des Techniques (France, 2002). From 1987 to 2013 she was faculty member of the Institute of Geosciences of Unicamp, where he served as Director (2009-2013). She works in history of sciences and technology (especially in Brazil), on Geosciences Education, and on scientific archives. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses, directing undergraduate works, master's and doctoral dissertations, and supervises postdocs.

Iran Ferreira Machado

Iran Ferreira Machado has a Bachelor's degree in Geosciences from the Federal University of Pernambuco (1961) and a Doctorade's degree in Geosciences from the Uppsala Universitet (1967). He is currently voluntary professor at the University of Campinas, where he worked as Associate Director at the Institute of Geosciences for five years. Played several roles at the public body National Department of Mineral Production, at CPRM (Geological Survey of Brazil), at the Center for Strategic Studies and Management and at two private companies. He received an award from the Mines and Energy Minister in 1984.
